Student Services

The Career Services Office

The Career Services staff assists students in acquiring the skills they need to conduct an effective job search. In addition, the Career Services Office circulates the resumes of graduates to employers who are seeking candidates with the skills the graduates acquired at NEIT. Additional services provided by Career Services include:

Assistance in all aspects of the job search

  • Workshops and individual assistance with resume writing, interview techniques, and LinkedIn profiles. Mock interview sessions are available.
  • Circulation of graduates’ resumes to employers
  • On-Campus recruiting and employer networking events
  • Full- and part-time employment postings for currently enrolled students

Many employers use NEIT as a resource when recruiting new employees. The Career Services Office assists employers with their hiring needs in many ways, including arranging on-campus recruiting activities, hosting annual employer recruiting and networking events, providing employers with resumes of recent graduates, and posting employment and internship opportunities.

Students are eligible to receive assistance in obtaining full-time employment in their field of study when they have fulfilled their graduation requirements, have met all of their financial obligations to NEIT, and have submitted a resume in the prescribed NEIT form to the Career Services Office.  No school can, and NEIT does not, guarantee its graduates employment or a specific starting salary.
